That new HP is pretty and I’m always in the market for a new desktop or laptop, yet I ask myself, “What would Pirillo buy?” (It’ll end up on a silicone bracelet labeled WWPB.) I’m tempted to build one from scratch but it has to be compatible with both XP Pro/Vista and Linux (most likely Kubuntu 8.04, Mandriva Spring or Mint). What components would Chris use to ensure that everything worked and had readily available Linux drivers? I’d want it to run two monitors, of course: One for the continuous StumbleUpon loads and another for the media player. Maybe it could have a special USB port to tell my I.V. pump to drip more caffeine so I could stumble through yet another page. God, I miss Tech TV!
