Print Your Contacts In Outlook 2007

Outlook is handy for storing a list of all your contacts. However, it is also handy to have a printed copy of your contacts to reference if you are not sitting at your computer or do not have access to Outlook.

Outlook lets you print all your contacts or just a subset. You can also choose how to print them – card medium booklet, memo phone directory, or small booklet.

To print all your contacts:

  1. Within Outlook, click the Contacts folder.
  2. On the File menu, click Print.
  3. In the Print style box, click the print style you want.
  4. If you want to customize the style, click Define Styles.
  5. Click Print.

To print a subset of your contacts:

  1. Within Outlook, click the Contacts folder.
  2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
  3. Click Filter, and then use the options to display only those contacts that you want to print.
  4. On the File menu, click Print.
  5. In the Print style box, click the print style you want.
  6. If you want to customize the style, click Define Styles.
  7. Click Print.

Loved the tip about printing contact phone numbers - got lost at one point. I think there was one too many “point to arrange by” in step 3-1. I used it to print e-mail addresses and then used it to copy and save to an Excel file.

To print names and e-mail addresses of your contacts in Outlook 2007:
1. Within Outlook, click Contacts.
2. On the View menu, point to Arrange By, point to Current View, and then click Phone List.
3. Choose the fields that you want to print by adding or removing fields.
1. On the View menu, point to Current View, and click Customize Current View.
2. Click Fields.
3. Change “Frequently-used” fields to “e-mail fields” using the drop down box
4. Add or remove fields (and move) as desired.
5. The fields in the Show these fields in this order box are the fields that will print.
• On the File menu, click Print

Also handy to copy and paste into Excel
