Wikidot

In this Web 2.0 generation, people expect to be involved in everything when it comes to online services. They’re not just interested in being served content because they want to serve content as well. Collaboration is key, and if your users can’t work together in some fashion, they’re not going to be very happy about it. We’re used to user input and collaboration through online services, but thanks to wikis, it’s not uncommon for people to edit entire Web sites together. If you’ve ever visited Wikipedia, then you’re familiar with wikis, but you can also create your own with a service like Wikidot.

It doesn’t make much sense to create a wiki for yourself if you’re going to be the only one using it, but people have done that. Wikis really start to shine when groups of people get involved, and if you need something that will enable a number of people to work together in an open and equal way, then a wiki is a perfect solution. What’s great about the wikis from Wikidot is that they can be made public or private and you can even earn some money through the AdSense integration.
