Add The Date And Time To A PowerPoint Presentation

One way that you can track when a PowerPoint presentation was created is to add the date and time to the presentation. When the date and time is added, it will appear along the bottom of the slide. You can add the date and time to a single slide or to all slides in a presentation.
To add the date and time in PowerPoint 2007:

  1. Click the first slide in your presentation.
  2. On the Insert tab, within the Text group, click Date & Time.
  3. In the Header and Footer dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To add the date and time, click the Slide tab, and then select the Date and time check box.
    • To add the date and time to notes pages or handouts, click the Notes and Handouts tab, and then select the Date and time check box.
    • To add the date and time to all of the slides, notes pages, or handouts in your presentation, click Apply to All.
