When I was looking at houses to buy about a year and a half ago, I searched online like most people, but surprisingly enough, the house that I ended up buying was shown to me by a real estate agent, and up until that time, I hadn’t seen it on the Internet. Even in this digital age, real estate agents still serve a purpose when it comes to showing you homes, however, more and more of us are conducting our initial property searches online. Roost is a service that aims to please by connecting you to the real estate listings in the locations that you’re interested in.
It’s important to note that Roost is not available everywhere, but certain key markets in the United States are currently supported, and you can search through them. Surprisingly, my fairly small hometown was supported, so I searched for homes in it to see what I could find. I like the way that you can refine your search and connect to homes through brokers, find new construction, and look at homes that are For Sale By Owner. Multiple pictures are provided in most cases, listings can be seen on a map, and you can filter the results by everything from price to square footage. Hopefully Roost will prove to be helpful for you when you’re looking for a new home.
