The procedures [at least 'Long Way'] doesn’t exist/work in WinXP Home.
I have SP-2+ installed. I can find User Accounts via the Control Panel [User Accounts twice if you have the Category View of Control Panel]; but, my ‘Guest’ account is already disabled & will not provide a Right Click menu. Using the ‘Short Way’ did not work on mine either; since, no ‘Guest’ account appeared under “Users” - maybe again because it was already disabled.

use this as well:

start -> right click my computer (it may be on the desktop depending on your settings) select manage then under system tools -> local users and groups -> users

it should be listed under there and can be disabled.
