I downloaded and installed BurnAware today and noted that it recognized both my DVD drive and cd/rw drive. Later today I started my computer again (Win XP) and it (windows xp) could not find either of those drives. Fortunately, I had a full system backup on a USB drive. After uninstalling BurnAware I restored the Documents and Settings folder and the system works again with both the dvd and cd/rw drives alive and well. No more BurnAware! I’ll continue using Nero.
