Display Text In Columns In Word 2007

Word displays text in a single column by default, but Word also lets you change the default setting to display text in multiple columns. You have the option of dividing text into two equal columns, three equal columns, or two unequal columns (with either one narrow left column or one narrow right column).

To display text in three equal columns:

  1. Within your Word document, select the paragraph/s that you want to display in multiple columns.
  2. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click the Columns button, and then click Three.

Word automatically distributes the selected text across three equal columns.
