Send Messages Immediately In Windows Mail
Windows Mail lets you customize how you want your messages sent when you click the Send button. For example, one option is to have all messages placed in your Outbox when you click the Send button, instead of sending them immediately. When Windows Mail is configured to place messages in the Outbox, you have to click the Send/Receive button for messages to leave the Outbox. On the other hand, you can configure Windows Mail to send messages immediately after you click the Send button.
To configure Windows Mail to send messages immediately:
- Click Start, All Programs and click Windows Mail.
- From the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Send tab.
- Click the Send messages immediately option.
- Click OK.
