I use Roboform 5.6.1 and it’s free. True the advanced features are blocked after 90 days. But I’ve been using it for 786 days now and everything else works just fine. Is there some reason to go to ver 6.1.4 or the newest 6.9.85?

Agree 100% with Mr. Pirillo about Roboform. Have been using it for years and swear by RoboForm2Go-even bought their USB device to store my passeords. One negative comment-the updates come too frequently. Hardly a week goes by without some change, usually insignificant. When updating, the process takes over your machine and closes everything which can be annoying. You can bypass the update but sooner or later you have to do it. HOWEVER, as I evolve I find that I am using Windows less and less, particularly VISTA). By the way, when will that SP1 be given to the riff-raff like me? I now use Leopard whereven possible and use VISTA and even XP only when I have to. I have one web-based finance program that I am locked into that requires some form of Windows. Mac does not have Roboform and I wish it did. It does have Sxipper and it comes close but I find that I must create a bookmark for each password protected site and then the program takes over. Also the program does not talk to me like Roboform does. However it is free so I should not complain too much. I have tried iother Mac password saving programs but Sxipper comes closest to Roboform. Oh, one more thing-it only works with Firefox which makes me appreciate Firefox more and more. It is better than IE but there are some sites that do not display properly with Firefox. Since you are an “influential” member of the online community, please write or lobby SiberSystems and tell them to make their program work on the Mac. You will receive your reward in heaven for this service.

The reason to go to the newer version is simple:
If you use software like this that you think is a valuable tool, support the people that made it. Does it help you make your life more simple? Pay for it - even if you don’t have to. Support software authors, they work hard so you don’t have to. (And no, I don’t work for them, I just love Roboform and think it’s worth every penny.)

I used it before and had much problems with updates and with reinstalling (I reinstall windows quite often).
I switched to a free alternative http://www.formautofiller.com
Nice software, it’s not complex, and it offers options to grow with.

I have been using Roboform for a year now. I love the program, and don’t know what I would do without it. I would recommend it. I made a quick video about teh program and posted it on squidoo
