Configure Start Menu Submenus To Appear On Click
By default, when you hold your mouse over a Start Menu option such as All Programs, the related submenu automatically appears. Some people find it difficult to maneuver the Start Menu when submenus continuously pop up. A quick change Start Menu settings and you can have submenus appear on click instead.
You can configure submenus ‘to only appear when the option is clicked,’ instead of when your mouse pointer is hovered over an option. To configure this, right click the Start button and select Properties. From the Start Menu tab, click the Customize button. Select the Advanced tab and clear the check beside the option to Open submenus when I pause on them with my mouse. Now it will take a mouse click for submenus to appear.
