Small Icons On The Vista Start Menu

By default, Vista uses large icons for items that appear in the Start menu. If you often pin programs to your Start menu, you may prefer to use small icons instead. Switching to small icons is possible but you have to do some digging to find the setting.
To use small icons on the Start menu in Vista:
- Right click the Start button and click Properties.
- Click the Customize button.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list.
- Uncheck the Use large icons option.
