  • No Related Post

Once you insert an AutoShape in a document, it is easy to change it to another one. For example, you may want to change a rectangular shape to a triangle. One way of doing so is to delete the original shape and then insert a new one. However, an slightly simpler way is to use the Change AutoShape command.

To change an AutoShape in Word:

  1. Display the Drawing toolbar.
  2. Select the AutoShape you want to change. Handles will appear around the outside of the shape.
  3. Click the draw option Draw on the Drawing toolbar, and point to Change AutoShape. The familiar AutoShape categories will appear.
  4. Select the new AutoShape you want to use.
