In the town where I live, you can always count on the fact that there are going to be plenty of garage sales to check out each weekend. After all, one person’s junk is another person’s treasure. I’ve been around people who make a day out of their garage sale adventures, and they start planning their method of attack for the weekend during the week. Preparation won’t guarantee that you find the best deals, but it definitely doesn’t hurt. No matter where you live, ZipGarage aims to be your resource for garage and yard sale information.
Their database doesn’t contain information for that many sales at this time (especially if you live in a smaller town), but that’s just because more people aren’t aware of this option. The service is built in such a way that sellers can post information about their sale in advance and even include pictures of items that will be there so that buyers can get a taste of what to expect. The comments area even enables buyers and sellers to start discussions with one another, so in reality, garage sales will become more than just weekend events.

It’s probably a great service BUT… if you write for the WORLD WIDE web you can’t say it works “no matter where you live” ! The U.S. is a big place, but it’s still only a small fraction of the world. You’d be AMAZED at how many of us live in the other bits!!
O.K. - rant over! - keep up the good work!
