Adobe Reader SpeedUp is a simple application that was created to help make the loading time of Adobe’s Acrobat/Reader software bearable for everyday use. AR SpeedUp only needs to be used once (a process taking only a few seconds) and then your version of Reader will be transformed forever. There are also some tweaking options available.

I have an even better speed-up. It’s called Foxit reader. It’s less than 2 megs to download, the executable is less than 4 megs, it loads fast, doesn’t eat up system resources, and best of all, it doesn’t continually phone home!!
