The following text about this software appears to be your (Lockergnome’s) comments, but is quoted directly from the software’s website. This produces the misleading impression that you say it is safe. I suggest in the future you make it clear when you are quoting from the manufacturer’s website. I downloaded and installed this program. That went fine.
When I start the program an icon appears on the task bar but no window opens. At this point, the program uses no CPU time and does no I/O.
The only way to end the program is to “end task” using the Windows Task Manager.
The uninstall process worked fine.

Wow. I haven’t been around here in quite a while. Now I know why. I used to get your newsletters and loved them - trusted them. But I come here and am inundated with ads everywhere. I don’t even know if what I’m reading is an ad or the blog post. I guess I need to go elsewhere for the info I need to find.
Good luck to you. But please, there are way too many ads here.
