Move Multiple Objects In PowerPoint 2007

  • No Related Post

PowerPoint slides often include graphics and objects. Slides can consist of shapes, lines, arrows, clip art, and so on. Most slides will include multiple objects of different types.

One of the problems you can run into when working with multiple objects is how to resize or move them. For example, if you need to reposition your drawing and it consists of multiple objects, each of the objects needs to be moved.

A simpler method of resizing or repositioning a drawing is to group all the objects using the steps below:

  1. Click an object within the drawing.
  2. Hold down the Shift key and click the remaining objects so they are all selected.
  3. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Group.
  4. Click Group.

You can now move or resize all the objects in the drawing at once. You can easily ungroup the objects again if you need to work with a single object in the drawing. Simply repeat the steps described above but this time you will click the Ungroup option.
