As a developer, I enjoy receiving relevant, informative, and engaging content that relates to all things about software development. When I first started programming, the resources that were available were very slim, and they weren’t always fun to learn with. When you fast-forward to today, you see that there’s a lot more interest in computers and technology in general, and this has led many people to develop more of an interest in programming. This is great for a number of reasons, but one of the main ones is that with increased interest comes improved tools and information. I don’t usually enjoy Digg clones, but DZone serves a useful purpose for developers.

The site has attracted a community of developers, and these developers have submitted and voted on development content from all over the Internet. Since this community is primarily for developers, you’ll find more interesting and unique links here than if you went to another resource that contained random people submitting links to resources that they think developers would like. I was skeptical at first, but I found some pretty good stuff here, so I’m a believer now.
