If you reference another file in your Word document, you can easily create a hyperlink to it. Clicking on the link will automatically open the file. You can also do the same thing with Web pages.
To create a hyperlink in Word 2007:
- Select the text that you want to create a hyperlink for.
- On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Hyperlink.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Existing File or Web Page under Link to, and then type the address that you want to link to in the Address box.
- Click Create New Document under Link to, type the name of the new file in the Name of new document box. Under When to edit, click Edit the new document later or Edit the new document now.

Diana,
I think that I have seen you write about Microsoft Outlook 2007. Well I have a problem with it and don’t know how to fix it. For the last few days it will not let me send large files such as PowerPoint or Windows Media Player. Do you have any idea as to what is causing this.
Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Diana,
I’m trying to build a webpage for myself using Word 07. It has been nearly 6 years since I took a web designing class so I’ve fallen very far behind in my tech. knowledge. I was wondering, how do I get a document to use a picture that is already on my server.
thanks.
