Looking for a way to spice up your e-mail messages? Microsoft Word includes several different themes that you can use in your messages. The themes automatically format the fonts, background colors, borders, and so on.
You can add a theme to a document by completing the steps below:
- Open a blank document.
- From the Format menu, click Theme.
- Under Choose a theme, click a theme to see a sample.
- Click the box beside the Active Colors option to brighten the colors.
- Click the box beside the Active Graphics option if you want to display the document as a Web page.
- Click the box beside the Background Image option to set the background of the selected theme as the background for the document.
- Click OK.
Your document will now assume the formatting of the theme you selected. You can now send the document as an e-mail. From the File menu, point to Sent To, and click Mail Recipient.
