If you want to copy a recipient on a message but do not want their name to appear, you can Blind Carbon Copy (Bcc) them. You may notice when you open a new message that the Bcc field is not available; only the To:, Cc: and Subject fields are visible. If that is the case, you can add it when you create a new message.
To Bcc a recipient on a message:
- Open a new message within Outlook.
- On the Message Options tab, in the Fields group, click Show Bcc.
- In the Bcc field, type in the email address of the recipient you want to blind carbon copy.
- Click Send.
