As anyone who’s even spent just a couple of minutes on the Internet knows, this thing that we call the World Wide Web is a fantastic resource for sharing information and knowledge with other people. The social aspect of things has been played up a lot over the past year or so, and there’s a reason for that - it works. Online social bookmarking services are very popular today, and they connect people with information in an interesting and often basic way. A link suggested by someone that you know or trust is a lot more valuable than a random link from a search engine, and with Beengo, you can share your knowledge and links in an efficient way.
You can use this service to save any type of textual data that you’d like, but far from being just a simple note and link farm, Beengo can actually classify certain types of knowledge for display in a specific way. For example, if you’re a developer, you may wish to store and share a snippet of code, but instead of just pasting it in as regular text, you can classify it as code snippet knowledge and take advantage of the syntax highlighting features. All information isn’t the same, so it shouldn’t be treated as such.
