Use A Picture As Your Slide Background In PowerPoint 2007

Posted by on May 3, 2007 | 3 Comments

PowerPoint allows you to create your own custom slides. You can change the color, the style, arrangement and so on. Another way you can customize your slides is to use a picture for the background.

You can use a picture as the background image on a slide in your presentation by following the steps that I describe below:

  1. Select the slide for which you want to change the background.
  2. On the Design tab, in the Background group, click Background Styles.
  3. Click Format Background.
  4. Click Fill.
  5. Click Picture or texture fill.
  6. Click File, locate and double click the picture you want to use as the background.
  7. Click Close.

PowerPoint applies the picture you selected as the background to your slide.
