Enable Track Changes On Word 2007

If multiple users are working on the same document, you may be required to track your changes. This means that any changes you make to a document are visible to other users. This fits into the editing process where your changes to a document are accepted or rejected.

To enable the Track Changes feature in Word 2007:

  1. Open the Word document that you need to revise.
  2. On the Review tab, in the Tracking group, click Track Changes

As you make changes to the document, they will appear in a different color, making it obvious to another user that they are changes.

Is there a way to turn the tracking off by default. Word 2007 shows some changes by default

Thank you for this information, I need to track changes in word, it has been a very long time since I used this feature and I am also using a new version of Office, 2007, this gave me the information I needed in a clear and simple way.
