Add A Page Border To Your Word 2007 Document

Posted by on Apr 23, 2007 | 8 Comments

Page borders are just another way that you can spice up your Word documents. You can add page borders of different styles, colors, sizes and art. You can also apply page borders to certain pages and sections of a document.

To accomplish this in Word 2007:

  1. Open your Word document.
  2. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Background group, click Page Borders.
  3. Click the Borders tab.
  4. Choose the format for your page border.
  5. Click OK.

Usually the bottom of the border wont print because it is outside the print range of your printer. It’s a printer issue, not a word issue.

Either change the margins so the border is higher, or use a different printer….a pain, i know…

This was very useful. All I really needed was the page layout and the page background part, but this really helped! Thanks! :) (I needed to know how to do this for my eighth grade computer class.)
