E-Mail:

Voting Option In Outlook 2002

Here is a nifty Outlook tip that a co-worker recently shared with me and many of you may find it useful. When you create a new message in Outlook, you can configure the message options to add voting buttons to the toolbar. The recipients’ copy of the message displays the voting buttons and they reply to your message by making a choice. If you ever needed to survey a group of users, this provides a quick and painless way of doing so.

To add voting buttons to a message in Outlook 2002:

  1. Within Outlook, create a new mail message.
  2. From the message window, click the Options button on the toolbar.
  3. Place a check beside the Use voting buttons option.
  4. Use the drop down arrow to select the voting buttons you want to use.
  5. Click Close.

I know this is old news, but the voting options are highly limited, you cannot use them to create anything like an actual survey. once again microsoft fails to deliver a useful product.
