Change The Time Scale In The Outlook Calendar

By default, your Outlook calendar uses a 30 minute time scale. By altering the calendar settings, you can increase or decrease the time scale to suit your specific needs. For example, you might prefer using a 60 or 15 minute time scale instead.

To change the time scale of your calendar in Outlook 2003:

  1. Open your calendar in Outlook.
  2. Right-click on the calendar grid.
  3. Click the Other Settings option.
  4. Use the drop down arrow beside the Time scale field to select the time scale you want to use.
  5. Click OK.

There is an easier way to chance the Time Scale in the Outlook calendar if you are using the daily view or working week view of the calendar.
In the other views (week and month) you have to use the method that you have suggested in this tips.

1. Open the calendar in outlook.
2. In daily view the time scale is located in the left pane of the view.
Right click here with your mouse pointer and select the time scale that you would like to use.
