If you want to copy a recipient on a message but do not want their names to appear, you can Blind Carbon Copy (Bcc) them. You will notice when you open a new message that the Bcc field is not available; only the To: and Cc: fields are visible.
To Bcc a recipient on a message:
- Open a new message within Outlook.
- Click the To: button.
- Click the name of the recipient you want to blind carbon copy.
- Click the Bcc button. The recipient’s name is added to the Bcc field.
- Click OK.
- Click Send.
