Change All Cell Margins In A Table (Word 2003)

Setting margins in table cells can be a challenge if you aren’t sure how to do it. Some people may try using the ruler; however, they will soon discover that this is not the way to go. If you want to change the margins of all table cells, you need to open the Table Properties window.

The steps below describe how to change the margins of a single table cell.

  1. Select the table within your document.
  2. From the Table menu, click Table Properties.
  3. Click the Table tab.
  4. Click Options.
  5. Enter the new values for the margins.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK to close the Table Properties window.
