Box Widget

Sharing files is fun, but it’s not always easy. The proliferation of audio and video content on the Internet has increased the file sizes that we’re used to, so instead of opting to e-mail a file, you have to look at your options in relation to sending it over IM, uploading it to personal server space, or using one of the many file exchange services that exist today. Obviously, if you want to share a collection of files with your audience, then you’re probably going to use your blog as the catalyst for this. Furthermore, blogs and widgets have become synonymous with one another, so a file widget would be very appropriate, and that’s exactly what the Box Widget is.

You’ve probably seen these widgets slowly popping up on blogs all over the Internet, and the good news is that it’s extremely easy to create your own. Once you get to the site, all you need to do is select the files that you want to upload and start with, provide your e-mail address and a password for your account creation, and then upload the content to get the code for your widget. The widget itself is very attractive, and you can even preview files such as images and audio straight from the widget without even needing to download them! This is definitely the killer feature. There’s no need to think outside of the box when this Box Widget is compelling enough to keep you inside the box.
