SpamBayes is better than nothing at all, but I still consider it a massive failure. After training it for about 14 months (over 30,000 emails!!!!) I still get: “1731 messages were manually classified as spam (760 were false negatives).” In other words, 4 out of every 10 spams still make it through to my inbox.
