It’s always surreal when a brilliant idea pops into your head out of nowhere. This doesn’t happen nearly as much as I’d like it to happen, so I’m thankful when I’m able to experience it. I don’t know what it is about that period of time right before you fall asleep, but I’ve found that most of my inadvertent brainstorms happen at that time. I guess this takes place because your mind is relaxed and mostly devoid of thought when you’re about to enter Dream World. Either way, I’m not going to fight it. It would be great if you could plan out when these brilliant ideas miraculously come to mind, but since that’s not possible, there are going to be occasions when you’ll need to set aside some time to focus on coming up with ideas. You may have to put a little bit of work into it, but bubbl.us will help you to brainstorm.

The brainstorming sessions that bubbl.us gets you started with are based off of the mind mapping approach to conceptualizing and organizing information. First of all, you start off with a central subject that you specify and then you work around it by diagramming words, ideas, and tasks that are related to it. Bubbl.us provides users with an interactive and attractive interface with which to present this data. Registered members can also save their brainstorms and work on them at other convenient times.

Here is another really good collaborative web-based mind mapping tool that might be worth looking at comapping.com.

Unless I am mistaken, Minecraft is still in beta stages, although release is slated for 11/11/11

Minecraft has an unusual release system. There are beta releases prior to official updates leading up to what’s considered an official release. If I’m mistaken, thanks for pointing that out. Still, there’s something strange about calling a program unofficially released when more people are playing it (and paying money for it) than most major brand releases.

Call of duty comes out every 12 months, not 6.

Full releases, yes. Thanks for pointing that out. The overprices expansion packs and other extras are what they expect people to spend more money on every 3-6 months.
