Once you start sharing your folders and files you can easily lose track which ones you have made accessible to other users. For security reasons, you should make it a best practice to periodically check which folders and files you have shared. Vista makes this very simple to do.
- Click Start and click Control Panel.
- Select Network and Internet.
- Select Network and Sharing Center.
- Click the link at the bottom of the window labeled: Show me all the files and folders I am sharing.
Once you click this link, Vista will open an Explorer like windows listing all the files and folders on your computer that you have shared.

The link to “Microsoft’s Really Hidden Files” is not working.
File not found - 404.
Has MS hidden it?!
Best regards.

The question that most people are asking about this subject is “What is the path to the folders that I’m sharing?” …not just “What folders am I sharing?”
So….How do you get the path of the folders that you are sharing in Windows Vista?
Thanks
Ryan
