A Free MP3 For Your Music Library

I like helping people who help me. Corey Denis has been a faithful supporter of our efforts, so it’s with great excitement that I pass his new venture on to the rest of you. I’m sure you like music, right?

Good to see you at Podcamp. Always interesting. Wasn’t just kissing up when I said I learned a lot at Gnomedex this year. ‘Tis true. Anyway, will ya toss me a bone and register for Promonet to check it out? Would love to have you on board in some way. If nothing else, you’ll be able to blog an MP3 from the catalog if ever you choose. And at worst, you’ll see what the heck I’m talking about when I yap about Promonet. I realize you aren’t a music blogger or caster, but we are doing something new here - I think you’ll like what you see.

You should make it a point to discover at least one new indie artist every month to expand your library - and IODA can certainly help:

We’ve asked all IODA labels to make their music available legally for fans to discover, review, download, podcast, or otherwise promote. The result is Promonet where we provide thousands of previews, full length MP3s, photos, bios, links, and more so you can spread the word about independent music. Independent labels respect and trust their fans; they know that music fans want to support the artists that they love. Promonet gives fans a way to do exactly that.

I’ve been listening to the ytcracker album almost every day around here. Ponzi’s getting sick of it, but it’s either nerdcore or holiday tunes. Jingle all the way!

Hi from Des Moines, Chris.

AGREE 1000000% with you about Ia suing MSFT. Two very liberal lawyers here are after a portion of MSFT’s cash hoard & are greedy for a big pay day. I really hope they lose! The socialist EU continues to dog the company and now 9 or 10 states here are after them too. The basis of their claim is without any redeeming merit whatsoever imo.
I am a product of Dowling HS as well….some yrs before you.
