I heard from a good source that Microsoft is going to release te sidebar to XP users, in hopes that it will encourage developers to develop widgets for the sidebar.

These are great, but they illustrate to me exactly why I will not be in a rush to buy Vista in 2007. To my mind, Vista seems more like an exercise in preventing Windows piracy with few graphic toys added on, rather than any significant improvement to the interface per se. These toys look clever, and do what they say, but they take up resources without making the Windows experience fundamentally any better at all. And that’s what Vista will be like. Except that Microsoft will have even more control.

could someone give me a way how to get or make a searchbar for wds in xp toolbar like vista has? in order to customize my xp like vista especially in search tool, i’ve used msn toolbar search, but the butter fly logo makes me headache. the new msn toolbar (wl toolbar) is better and nearly looks like vista has, but it just shows only in internet explorer not windows explorer. any better solution? thank u
