Imagine if PowerPoint, or any other Microsoft Office application, did not have an undo function. You would have to manually undo any actions you performed to your slides if the results were undesirable.
Whoever created the Office applications was definitely thinking when they included the undo function. It allows you to reverse a certain number of actions you just performed by simply clicking the Undo button on the toolbar. By default, PowerPoint lets you reverse your previous 20 actions.
You can increase of decrease the number of actions you can undo using the steps described below.
- Within your PowerPoint presentation, click Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Edit tab.
- Under the Undo section, use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the Maximum number of undos value.
- Click OK to save your changes.
