Another Way To Group Objects In PowerPoint 2002

Grouping objects in PowerPoint makes them easier to manipulate. For example, if you create a drawing on a slide and the drawing consists of multiple objects, you can easily reposition all the objects at once by grouping them first.

There are two ways that you can group objects on a slide. The first method is described below.

  1. Click an object within the drawing.
  2. Hold down the Shift key and click the remaining objects so they are all selected.
  3. Right click the objects, point to Grouping, and click Group.

Alternatively, once you have all the objects in your drawing selected, simply use the CTRL + G keystrokes to group all the objects.
