PowerPoint slides often include graphics and objects. Slides can consist of shapes, lines, arrows, clip art, and so on. Most slides will include multiple objects of different types.
One of the problems you can run into when working with multiple objects is how to resize or move them. For example, if you need to reposition your drawing and it consists of multiple objects, each of the objects needs to be moved.
A simpler method of resizing or repositioning a drawing is to group all the objects using the steps below:
- Click an object within the drawing.
- Hold down the Shift key and click the remaining objects so they are all selected.
- Right click the objects, point to Grouping, and click Group.
You can now move or resize all the objects in the drawing at once. You can easily ungroup the objects again if you need to work with a single object in the drawing. Simply repeat step 3 as described above but this time you will click the Ungroup option.

DIANA HUGGINS:
DATED 31OCTOBBER2005 YOU HAVE AN ITEM “CREATE AN INDEX
OF YOUR EXCEL WORKSHEETS”. I CAN NOT GET THIS TO WORK.
I HAVE WRITTEN SOME ‘C’ BUT NOT VBA. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO
MONKEY AROUND WITH THIS AND EVEN TO GET IT TO COMPILE.
DO YOU HAVE AN UPDATE TO THIS? ULTIMATELY WHAT I REALLY
WANT IS TO COPY ALL SHEETS NAMED “DOCUMENTATION”
INTO A SEPARATE WORKBOOK AND THEN TO INDEX THOSE SHEETS.
I HAVE BEEN STUDYING THE COURSE TECHNOLOGY BOOK “EXCEL
2003″ AND EACH BOOK HAS A SHEET NAMED “DOCUMENTATION”
IN WHICH I ALSO INCLUDE COPIOUS STUDY NOTES.
THANX. TERRY HUFF.
