Those of us who use RSS have our standard set of feed subscriptions, and this collection of news becomes our very own personal newspaper. Have you ever had someone ask you about what feeds you’re subscribed to? That’s happened to me a number of times, and it’s easy to see why - people are curious by nature, and they want to get some good suggestions for their own subscription list. After all, you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their aggregator. The best way to share your feeds is by using OPML, and you can do so at Share Your OPML.
Once you upload or enter the URL to your OPML file, you can then share it with the other users of the site, and this exchange of information can be very beneficial to everyone. The site features the Top 100 Feeds based off of user subscriptions, and you can finally figure out who subscribes to what. You’ll even be able to connect with people whose subscriptions are similar to yours. If you want to give your ego a boost (or deflate it, depending on the outcome), just enter in the URL of your feed and see if any of the other users on the site have found it to be worthy of a subscription.
