In a previous tip I outlined how you can schedule a meeting within Outlook 2002. Once the meeting is created, it automatically appears in your calendar on the date that it is taking place.
However, what happens if you need to reschedule a meeting? This is as simple as reopening the meeting, changing the time, and notifying the participants. The exact steps are described in detail below.
- Open Outlook.
- Click Calendar listed under Outlook Today.
- Locate and double click the meeting within your calendar.
- Use the down arrow to select a new day and time for the meeting.
- Click the Send Update button.
Participants will be sent the updated day and time for the meeting. You will receive a notification for each participant that accepts or declines the new time.

Yeah, just find the original email meeting request.
