NTFS permissions - What Do They All Mean? Part II

In the first installment of this article, you learned about the basic NTFS permissions. If these permissions do not meet your requirements and you need something more granular, you can use the Advanced permissions.

These Advanced permissions can be used in combination with any standard permission to provide a more granular approach to file and folder security. With some research, you can determine which special permissions make up the standard permissions. The table below summarizes the special permissions.
