Bulleted lists can be difficult to work with, especially when it comes to adjusting the margins. For example, getting all the in a list text correctly indented. You can manually adjust the left margin for each bullet by moving the indent marker on the ruler. A more efficient method is to use Bullets and Numbering dialog box as described below.

To adjust the left margin of a bulleted list:

1. Highlight the appropriate bulleted list(s). Use the [Ctrl] key to select multiple lists.
2. Right-click the list and click Bullets And Numbering.
3. Verify that the Bulleted tab.
4. Click the bullet style in the Bullet Gallery and click the Customize button.
5. Under Bullet Position, use the up or down arrow beside the Indent At option to set the correct distance from the margin.
6. Click OK twice to save your changes and close the open dialog boxes.
