I may not be the biggest digital photographer on the planet, but I occasionally take pictures and create graphics that I’d like to use online, and before I’m able to do so in a proper way, I sometimes find that I need to make a few simple edits first. That’s usually no problem because there are plenty of image editing suites on the market. However, a program like Photoshop isn’t always needed to do the things that I want to do, and in reality, it’s complete overkill. Since I’m wanting to place my images online, it only makes sense that I would want to make the needed edits online, too. With SnipShot, you can snip away and edit your pictures online.
The service allows you to easily import a photo from your computer or any Web site - even Flickr. Basic editing tools are available (crop, rotate, resize), and you can even make other minor image adjustments. More features are on the way, but as it stands right now, the functionality that SnipShot offers to me is just what I need to get the job done in a lot of different situations. Once you’re done editing your image, you can then export it to Flickr or save it to your computer in a number of popular image formats.
