I take it this is a REAL clas action settlement and not a fake email going around then? I’ve received two emails about this now, but they didn’t come to me until 2007. When doing a search for the Class Action Settlement I found Lockergnome’s post dated back at September 4th, 2006

Let’s take this article one step further by detailing the recent fakes, scams, and phishing emails that are circulating on the net. I just got an email today 10-2-07. How does one validate that it’s the real mccoy?

I received an email on this today (Oct. 2, 2007). What is the benefit of filing the claim from their web? $$? If so, how much?

Settlement is being handled very poorly. Obviously they know I bought memory as they sent me two claim forms and I never contacted them, but now I have to come up with my receipt from 1999? (not likely).
At least with the Epson Settlement, they knew what I bought as well as my address and just sent the $40 off coupons for each printer. What happens to the money which is not claimed because we don’t have a receipt from 1999? Does it go to the lawyers? What a scam!!

I have sent an email to Robin Niemiec with the question what happens if I do not have the reciept anyway and the reply i got is below.
am in receipt of your email in regard to the DRAM Antitrust Litigation. Yes, you can file your claim. You do not need to supply receipts in order to file a claim.
I thank you for your time and if you should have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
