Would you like to be awesome?

It’ll only cost you a buck.

Today’s Family First site makes only one claim: For a dollar, you can be awesome.

It’s called Awesome Million. Here’s its mission:

Research has shown that out of hundreds of millions of people, places or things on the Internet, that ONLY one million of those are in fact really awesome (OK, that’s fake research, we made it up, but it should be true). Think about it, logically there can only be a certain amount of really awesome people, places or things, right? Right! When you become a member of the Awesome Million Really Awesome exclusive club, you will have documented proof that you are really awesome.

So, while you may have personal inklings that you are, indeed, awesome, this site will make it official.

What you get for your bucks is a Web page addressed thusly: (yourname).isreallyawesome.com. Your page is categorized as a person, place, or thing. For instance, if you think a certain California beach is really awesome, your site would be designated a place. On the other hand, if it’s your shih-tzu that’s really awesome, you would opt for thing.

Human nature being what it is, though, my guess is that most will opt for the (first) person.

So trek on in and grab your awesome site. After all, there will only be one million awarded!
