Add Voice Comments To Your Document (Word 2002)

- Add a Comment
Microsoft Word allows you to insert written comments throughout a document. However, you can become a little more technically savvy by adding voice comments to a document, instead of written comments. As long as your computer is equipped with a sound card and microphone, you are all set to create your voice comments.
To add a voice comment to a Word document:
- Within the document, place the cursor where you want the comment to be heard.
- Click the arrow beside the comments button.
- From the drop down menu, click Voice Comment.
- Click the Record button and begin recording your voice comment.
- Click Stop when you are finished.
- Close the Sound Object window.
You can listen to your voice comment by double clicking the sound icon that now appears within the document.

I have a question. I was teaching some other teachers to add a voice comment to their documents and asked them to try this at home. A teacher said that she couldn’t do it because her word 2003 didn’t have this feature, only the written comment. Is this possible or maybe she didn’t read the instructions to add it correctly?
Thanks.
