Delete A User Profile In XP

Each time a new user logs on to a WinXP computer, Windows creates a new user profile for that person. Oftentimes these profiles can become quite large and consume a lot of hard drive space. If you no longer need a user profile, you can delete it thereby freeing up space on your hard drive.
If you open the System Properties dialog box you can view a list of all the user profiles stored on a computer. Simply right-click My Computer on your Desktop and click Properties. Select the Advanced tab and click the Settings button under the User Profiles heading.
Windows lists the size of each profile, giving you an indication of how much hard drive space each profile consumes. To get rid of profiles you no longer need, select them from the list and click the Delete button. Click Yes to confirm your actions and then close the System Properties dialog box.

Hi,
I was trying to fix a problem with “RUN As” boxes popping up every time i used a program and have mistakenly now managed to delete a user profile i really needed in the manner in which you describe above. Ive tried system restore and this brings back the user and desktop but no files! Have i lost all my files for good or is there someway to recover them ?
Hope you can help!

I have two user profiles stored on my computer. My OS is Windows XP Home Edition. Since no one else uses this computer why should there be more than one profile? There is one for Administrator (567KB) and one for Owner (2.39 GB). Can I delete the smaller one?
