HSSVSS is a monition detection system that can be used for video surveillance of your home or office. It displays full-screen video from your Web cam or other capture device and offers a customizable detection zone and sensitivity levels to fine-tune the motion detection.
If the program senses a motion, it automatically captures an image, adds a time stamp, and saves it to a local folder and/or remote FTP server. Unfortunately, it does not offer any additional alert features or actions to be triggered by a detection, so it is mostly useful for passive monitoring.
Other features include a thumbnail mode, emailing of reports (manually), and support for up to two cameras.
