SocialSurvey

E-mail has done a lot to improve the speed and effectiveness of communication, but for every advancement, it seems like we take two steps back. Yes, e-mail has done great things, but it’s also exposed us to unbelievable amounts of spam, it’s caused people to scale down their personal communication, and just because you can send an e-mail quickly, it doesn’t mean that you’re going to get a fast response. If you’ve ever played e-mail tag before, then you know that the process can be very frustrating. I’ve been exposed to several huge delays in waiting for certain business matters to be finalized through e-mail, and when you can talk on the phone or in person, there’s a sense of urgency and personal responsibility that gets expressed and helps to speeds things up. Regardless, group communication through e-mail can be improved with SocialSurvey.

Getting feedback from a number of people on a certain matter can (and most likely will) involve a lot of back and forth communication that will twist your brain into a pretzel if you’re not able to manage it effectively. SocialSurvey offers a service that allows you to compose one e-mail message that gets sent to a group of people that you specify. Templates are available according to the needs that you may have, but you can also create your own if nothing fits the bill just right. You can give your recipients options to choose from, allow them to offer their own suggestions, and if you don’t have a lot of time, you can even schedule a time for them to give their responses back to you, and reminders can be sent if they’re tardy. Instead of receiving a number of e-mail’s, you’ll get all of the responses back in one organized e-mail, which makes a lot of sense.

So weird. I love the ”milestones” and ”life event” sections, but it isn’t as slick, quick and simple as G+, and it seems a bit cluttered, which has always been Facebook’s main issue.

Holy Crap, I can’t beleive that worked.  I hate Facebook changes because it takes me so long to figure it out and it takes away so much of my time getting actual work done on it!  So I wanted to bite the bullet now instead of waiting so I can navigate it through the weekend!  Thanks so much…  ~K
