Desktop Graffitist

Even if you are stuck in a suburban jungle, it is still OK to feel like you need to get in touch with your inner street thug. Now you do not need to steal a car or beat up an old person to get your thrills. You can do it right on your desktop. Bring a little spraypainting to your desktop with Desktop Graffitist.

The author of the program says:

Desktop Graffitist is a small program that enables you to spray paint your desktop, and anything else that might appear onscreen. DG is designed for recreation and creativity, and can be used to relieve office stress and boredom.

Aside from the added bonus of allowing you to vent on that stupid monthly report or the latest homework assignment, the program is also good for leaving messages on other people’s computers that they can’t miss (love notes, hate notes, grocery lists, and art/graffiti/vandalism, …).

It’s simple, relaxing, addictive, free, and totally fun!

This is a great way to release any artistic desire you might have when you have some free time to kill. Check out some of the screen shots to see what type of fun you can have. Vandalize your desktop and give this freeware program a shot.

If you read the book, he claims that it may not work for you, in whole or in part.

I’m starting the diet with the supplements myself.

Also, there seems to be plenty of volunteers that also have gone through the various parts of the book as well.

And no, I haven’t read the whole thing yet.

Also, when the heck did Lockergnome change over to Disqus???

This is almost an objective review. The conclusion can be improved though.
Firstly, cardio together with weight training will potentially backfire. It can lead to “reward” eating after the aerobics and overtraining which has the negative effect on the recovery and muscle growth. More muscle == more fat-burning when not exercising. (See Body By Science for more details)

2ndly, sex is scammy? Just because he has a few chapters on sex in his book regardless of how “effective” the techniques really are, it’s scammy? Is it a scam even if it works?

Thirdly, I agree with the fact that some of these ideas might not work for ALL people (most do) but note that Tim Ferriss encourages “self-experimentation” and calls it the whole point of the book. Start small, let’s say 2 weeks, do the instructions “to the letter”, if they don’t work for you, toss it out and tell everyone.
